John Thomas "Tommy" Trivette

November 12th, 1943 - May 23rd, 1967
Tommy Trivette died from injuries sustained in Viet Nam in Quang Ngai, South Viet Nam when he was 23 years old (May 23, 1967). He was in the 196th Light Infantry Brigade of the US Army. His name is on the Viet Nam Memorial in Washington, DC.

Tommy was a student at John W. Moore School before graduating from Reynolds in our class. He and his family attended Ardmore Methodist Church. He was always a quiet, gentle and kind person.

THOUSAND OAKS, CA - On September 4, 2010, John William Tucker passed away in Thousand Oaks, CA after a valiant battle with cancer. Mr. Tucker was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on June 28, 1945. He graduated from RJ Reynolds High School, and he continued his education at North Carolina State University. After college, John spent several years in North Carolina before moving to Southern California. Timothy M. Vernon

Timothy Vernon, choral music leader, conductor and pianist, New York City and Pleasantville, N.Y., died on December 28, 2005. Vernon was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., on February 5, 1945. He earned B.A. degrees in music simultaneously from Juilliard and Columbia and had two graduate degrees (in musicology in music liturgy and in orchestral conducting) from the Yale School of Music and SUNY Buffalo. While at the College, he received the Henry Evans Traveling Fellowship and was a member of Delta Phi fraternity. He was a graduate of Reynolds High School and High Point University and was the owner of Quick Flip, Inc. in Mount Airy. Chuck grew up attending Ardmore Methodist Church with his family. Since Vicki is no longer with us, I thought I’d fill you in on a little bit of her life. She lived on Hawthorne Road right next to Baptist Hospital prior to 8th grade but soon moved to Stratford Road. Her father was the head of Pastoral Care at Baptist while her mother was mostly a stay-at-home mom. She had 2 younger brothers, Dick and David.
